DVD menu design

In a DVD production, the graphic design of the menu is a very important factor. Apart from the cover or similar, the menu is the first thing the eye sees and thus helps create the first impression of the entire DVD.

At TEWA, we only have well-trained and skilled designers who work to meet your requirements and ideas, while contributing their own ideas based on the latest knowledge and experience from numerous productions.

Whether you want a simple DVD menu with a nice background or a large menu with moving images, background sound and animated transitions, we help you achieve the best possible result.

Advanced DVD Authoring

The DVD medium allows for great interactivity. You choose how you want your DVD experience to be. For example, you can choose:

  • Language selection for menu, audio and subtitles
  • Movie sequence or menu is only seen after playing the main movie
  • Menu will only be available from a specific location in the movie
  • A little game where you have to answer some questions correctly

With us, you get

Not sure if your print files or master are up to scratch?
Don’t worry, we always check both print and master files before production starts.

And if you want us to check your files for printing before production, we can do that too. Just send the files to us with a description of what you need printed, preferably with reference to a quote if you have received one.

What do you check?

We check all the technical aspects of your files and your master. We check the print files to see if they meet our specifications, for example:

  • they are the right size/measurement
  • they stick to the right color space – the color space is basically CMYK but can also be pantone
  • images are in the right resolution
  • There are other things that can cause pressure issues

We check the master if it technically meets the requirements. For example, we check if:

  • The master type matches the expected
  • CD audio masters will work on CD players
  • DVD video masters will work on DVD players
  • There are other things about the master that can cause problems when copying

What are you not checking?

We don’t check:

  • whether there are spelling mistakes in your print files and such
  • whether you have put the correct versions of files etc. on the master
  • Whether there are errors in e.g. audio tracks or movie tracks due to errors caused by the master being burned with errors in these

Therefore, we recommend that you check the material you send thoroughly before you send it to us. For example, make sure that:

  • read all texts thoroughly
  • Test your master or copy of the master before sending it
  • Listen to your master or listening copy all the way through for CD audio (music and audio CDs)
  • See your master or copy all the way through for DVD video (movie DVDs)

There can be a lot of questions when making CDs or DVDs – especially the first few times. We think it’s important that you’re completely comfortable with the process, so you’re always welcome to ask any questions you have.

This applies whether your questions are about print files, masters, rights, NCB, Copydan, or something completely different. We have extensive experience in the field, and we are happy to share it with you.

We know it’s important to you that you can count on the prices you get. That’s why all prices on this page and all prices you get in quotes include all costs such as fees, start-up costs, production materials and shipping, unless otherwise stated. However, all prices are ex VAT, so you need to add VAT. You should also be aware that when using other people’s material, such as music, you may have to pay for the right to use it – for example, NCB fees that are paid directly to NCB or similar.

Order when you want, how you want

You can order by phone, by email or by using our online ordering. Ordering by phone gives you the opportunity to get advice on what to choose – while when ordering by email or via our online ordering, you can order when it suits you – around the clock.

No minimum order – order the ones you need

There is no limit to how few CDs or DVDs you can order. We make from 1 piece and upwards. There are a few types of covers where there is a lower limit, but most types of covers can also be made regardless of quantity.

So whether you only need a few pieces or a lot, we can help you.

The delivery time for most orders is 2-7 business days for orders under 500 pieces and 10-13 business days for orders of 500 pieces and above.

Do you need your CDs or DVDs faster?

Don’t worry, don’t worry. We have various express options and can deliver CDs and DVDs overnight, or as little as a few hours for pickup.
